Volleyball Alberta will use the following game balls for the 2022 Club Season

13U Age Class: Mikasa MVALITE
14U-16U Age Classes: Mikasa VQ2000
17U-18U Age Classes: Mikasa V200W

Mikasa recently announced that the MVALITE has been discontinued, after receiving feedback from club presidents, Volleyball Alberta will continue to use the MVALITE for the 2022 season.  A new competition ball will be introduced for the 2023, after a review by Volleyball Alberta and consultation with club presidents.

Volleyball Alberta will continue to use the VQ2000 for the 14U-16U age classes, while the VQ200W-CAN will be used for Volleyball Canada Nationals.  The balls have the same inner core and exterior cover construction, the only difference is the VQ200W-CAN eighteen panel design.  Both versions of the ball will feel and play similarly.

The MVA200 has been discontinued and replaced by the Mikasa V200W, the official game ball for Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada Nationals.  The balls have the same inner core and exterior cover construction, the only difference is the V200W’s eighteen panel design.  Both versions of the ball will feel and play similarly, purchasing the new series should only be necessary to replace damaged or lost balls.
