We are excited to launch an initiative in Edmonton and surrounding areas to help grow the game of volleyball for kindergarten to grade 6. We are now booking in-class sessions with schools to introduce Volleyball Canada’s newest version of Volleyball – Smashball.
GO Sports Schools Edmonton Program Information
SMASHBALL is volleyball for kids aged 6-12 played on a modified court in a 3 vs 3 format. There are 5 progressive levels that provide a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate environment for kids to learn volleyball. In SMASHBALL you get to learn to smash/spike right away, there is lots of time to play and learn the cycle of actions that is used in full 6 vs 6 volleyball.
After each session, we will provide teachers with resources to continue to teach the game in their physical education curriculum.
We also provide PD-day sessions where we provide resources and instruction to teach smashball to students.
The cost of the full day is $300.00 + taxes + fees
The cost of a half day or less is $175.00 + taxes + fees.
For any city outside of Edmonton, it’s $0.55/kilometre after the first 30 kilometres.

2024-2025 School Programs
2024-2025 has been a great year! We have already have over 30 school bookings and have had the opportunity to teacher kindergarten up to grade 6.
