The 2018 Alberta Summer Games were held in Grande Prairie July 20-22, with Beach Volleyball being played at the newly renovated South Bear Creek Park courts.
On the boys side the Zone 3 team of Cole Florence/Adam McDougall won a close final over the Zone 6 team of Henry Gardiner/Ethan Woollett. Carson Brennan/Eli Purdon of Zone 2 bested the team of Kyle Robertson/Ishaq Lee Son for the bronze medal. On the girls side of the draw Avery Kelly/Hailey Bailey of Zone 2 went undefeated winning the gold medal, with the Zone 3 team of Alex Sinik/Ryley Horton finishing second. The Zone 6 team of Jacqueline Snider/Kira Johnston ended up winning bronze against the Zone 5 tandem of Lauryn Draker/Brooklyn Van Rooyen.
