The 2018 beach season wrapped up at the end of August in Toronto with the Senior and Youth National Championships.  Team Alberta Beach spent the week in Toronto preparing for, and competing in nationals.  The provincial team athletes and coaches were very lucky to be able to work with some of Volleyball Canada’s beach coaches throughout the week.  Head coach Steve Anderson, assistant coach Adriana Bento, and program coach Dana Cooke all took time to pass on their knowledge to the provincial team.  The athletes were also able to practice with the Ontario Provincial team prior to nationals.  All of this preparation allowed our teams to be very competitive throughout the nationals competition.
