Club volleyball season is right around the corner and it’s time for referees and club leaders to complete your PIA requirements! Do not delay!

All referees, coaches, managers, trainers, club administrators/board members, registrars, team contacts, volunteers, or any Leader must complete the mandatory requirements prior to working with a club or athletes. A PIA may not participate in volleyball activities until they have completed a Criminal Records Checks (CRC), Safe Sport Training (SST), and annual Screening Disclosure Form (SDF).

Completing these prerequisites is a small but critical step in creating a safe and welcoming sport environment.  Volleyball Alberta recognizes a systemic culture shift is required to eliminate maltreatment in sport.
