The City of Grande Prairie is host to the 2024 Alberta Winter Games February 16-19, 2024. The Games will welcome over 2600 athletes, coaches, managers, and technical officials in 18 different sports.
Zone Tryout information for indoor volleyball is now posted on our Alberta Winter Games page. Tryouts are scheduled in early December. Eligible athletes must register and tryout to be considered for selection to represent their zone at the 2024 Alberta Winter Games.
Eligibility
- 15U Age Class: athletes born Sept. 1, 2008 to Dec. 31, 2009 or later
- Athletes must register for the tryout in the zone they reside (List of Communities by Zone).
Tryout Registration
- Purchase a Volleyball Alberta Membership. Athletes must have a membership prior to registering for a zone tryout. Acceptable memberships include:
- 2024 Youth Development Player – Tryout membership ($21.81) purchased using the link above
- 2024 Youth Competitive Player – Indoor membership ($117.78) purchased in association with your club
- Register for a Zone Tryout with Volleyball Alberta. Please note that Zone 7 Girls Tryouts will be posted early next week and are tentatively scheduled for December 9 in Vermillion.
- Register with the Alberta Games. All participants are required to register with the Alberta Games.
