We are excited to launch an initiative in Edmonton and surrounding areas to help grow the game of volleyball for kindergarten to grade 6. We are now booking in-class sessions with schools to introduce Volleyball Canada’s newest version of Volleyball – Smashball.

SMASHBALL is volleyball for kids aged 6-12 played on a modified court in a 3 vs 3 format. There are 5 progressive levels that provide a fun, safe and developmentally appropriate environment for kids to learn volleyball. In SMASHBALL you get to learn to smash/spike right away, there is lots of time to play and learn the cycle of actions that is used in full 6 vs 6 volleyball.

After each session, we will provide teachers with resources to continue to teach the game in their physical education curriculum.

We also provide PD-day sessions where we provide resources and instruction to teach smashball to students.
