Alberta will be well represented at the 2019 FISU Games in Napoli, Italy with 8 athletes and 1 coach representing both the province and Alberta universities. The FISU Games will take place from July 3-14 with the volleyball competition occuring from July 5-13. Canada will be represented by a delegation of over 300 student-athletes, coaches, staff and medical personnel and Canadian athletes will compete in 12 sports.
