Volleyball Alberta is a proud partner and host to the International Sport Exchange with Alberta’s sister Province of Gangwon, South Korea.  Alberta Sport Connection, the Alberta Government and Volleyball Alberta are excited to welcome these athletes, coaches and leaders July 4-13, 2018.  The Gangwon representatives will have the opportunity to participate in several local activities that will include: West Edmonton Mall’s Water Park, Alberta Legislature Tour, Banff/Lake Louise Tour, Calgary Stampede, Street Luge, Axe Throwing, and much more.

The Gangwon volleyball team participated in a court session (video) with Team Canada’s sitting team and will train with Team Alberta’s 16U & 17U men’s teams.  They will compete in a match against Team Alberta’s 17U team on Tuesday, July 10 at the Genesis Centre (7555 Falconridge Blvd NE) in Calgary.  The general public and volleyball community are welcome to attend for FREE, the match will start at 7:00pm.
