Volleyball Alberta will run GO Sports programs in Calgary at the Genesis Centre in the Winter 2025. GO Sports is a program that gives kids ages 6 & up an opportunity to learn the sport of volleyball.

Register
To successfully register you must first purchase a membership for the participant, create an account on VRS-Sportlomo, and then purchase the program registration.
The required membership for GO Sports is the: 2025 Youth Recreational Player – Indoor Membership. Volleyball Alberta’s membership year is September 1 to August 31 of each year.
Note:
Cancellation Deadline is before noon a week before the start date of the program
Cancellations prior to the deadline will be processed less a $35 Administrative Fee.
Cancellations on or after the deadline are non-refundable.
If a participant cannot participate for a particular session, no refunds will be offered.
If cancelled by Volleyball Alberta and the session cannot be rescheduled for later days, VA will refund participants the variable costs of the program onto the original method of payment*.
Online Registration Process
Registrations will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Registrations will be done online on the Volleyball Registration System (VRS) powered by SportLoMo.
Membership Fee
Volleyball Alberta requires Players, Coaches, Referees, and Club Staff to become members prior to registering for any of our programs and events. Membership fees include a Volleyball Alberta and Volleyball Canada component.

All of our memberships are upgradable, meaning already paid membership fees will discount if upgrading from indoor to beach or from program to program in the same season. Memberships are non-refundable.

Volleyball Alberta was awarded grant funding through the SPAR – Every Kid Can Play (EKCP) initiative. Each participant for GO Sports program for 2024-2025 (excluding Fall 2025), will receive a $30.00 discount at time of check out on their sportlomo account.

Atomic 1 (9-12 years)
GO Sport Atomic programs follow the curriculum set out in Volleyball Canada’s Atomic Volleyball Program. Atomic Volleyball is an 8-week program with adapted rules for youth ages 9-12 years. Each session is 1.25 hours with every session being a combination of skills/technique practice and modified games play. Atomic Volleyball is part of the Long-Term Athlete Development Model Stage 2 “Learning to Train” that stresses FUN, FAIRPLAY, and PARTICIPATION by increasing the number of ball contacts.
