International Coaching Symposium
The International Coaching Symposium is coming to Calgary Wednesday, June 29 to Friday July 1 alongside Volleyball Nations League. Open your mind to new ideas and methodologies from world renown volleyball coaches and experts through a variety of live on-court demonstrations and sessions.

Two Pre-tournament online zoom presentations are also being offered separately for referees and coaches on “Maintaining Confidence Through Conflict” and “Mentorship” (registration deadline is Sunday, June 26). The Symposium will also feature a “Women in Leadership” panel session to inspire and empower women.
Volleyball Nations League
Canada, Belgium, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Serbia, Turkey, and USA are set to kick off week three of Volleyball Nations League at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex in Calgary, June 28 to July 03.
This is a rare opportunity to see the best international women’s teams right here in our province! Former Team Alberta standouts and local athletes from the Dinos Women’s Volleyball Club, Alexa Gray and Hilary Howe, suited up for Canada in the first two weeks of VNL competition. Alexa last led Alberta to a gold medal at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, while Hilary helped guide the provincial team to a silver medal at the 2015 Western Canada Summer Games in Fort McMurray.
