The podcast has truly been a team effort. It began more than two years ago, under the leadership of the Volleyball Alberta’s Board History Committee. Researcher Joelle Reiniger interviewed key players in the development in the sport from 1960-99. Her work was published in 2015 as a resource book.
From there, seasoned radio and podcast producer, Sarah Hoyles, was hired by the committee to create audio documentaries from the collected material. And now it is ready for your ears.
This history project was made possible through the generous support of the Alberta Historical Resources Foundation and the Alberta Lottery Fund.
